Well where to start? A few vital statistics perhaps …
My name is Tracey Read, I’m an Aussie living in Hong Kong for the last 7 years.
In June 2012 I was part of the Algalita/5Gyres research expedition sailing across the pacific ocean to study plastic marine pollution in ‘The Great Pacific Garbage Patch’.
On my return to HK I set up www.plasticfreeseas.org which now has an enthusiastic team working on solutions, raising awareness and organising action campaigns to combat HK’s contribution to the global issues of plastic pollution.
